ConquerBot
ConquerBot is the visitor you may have seen in your server logs with the name ConquerBot/1.0 (+https://www.conquer.so/bot). It belongs to Conquer, a service that helps people build websites.
Why it visits
A Conquer customer, usually a freelancer or agency, typed in your website's address to see how it could be improved. ConquerBot opens the public pages once, takes a few measurements (page weight, how the page fits a phone, page titles) and keeps what it reads in that customer's project only. It does not crawl the web, build a search index or train anything.
How it behaves
- It follows your robots.txt, including rules written for ConquerBot.
- One request a second at most, up to 60 pages and about eight minutes per visit.
- Only public pages. It never signs in, fills in forms or submits anything.
- The same address is not read again within 24 hours.
Keeping it out
Add this to your robots.txt and ConquerBot will not read your site:
